Amina Sewali is a singer, actress, multi-instrumentalist, beatboxer, songwriter and playwright, who has already made her mark on several of the biggest stages in Norway, both in theater, television and in the music scene.
She was born in Uganda in 1989, and moved to Norway at the age of four.
At the age of six, she fell in love with music after listening to Lauryn Hill sing"his eye is on a sparrow" in the movie "Sister act 2". She then taught her self the piano at the age of seven, and then later on the guitar at eleven. - when she also started playing the drums in a all girl band.
Growing up, pop, soul, motown R’n’B and jazz was a rich source of her inspiration.
In 2011 Amina released her self titled debut album with Warner Music, produced by Even "Magnet" Johansen, Børge Fjordheim and her self, which received great reviews. Aftenposten and VG among them.
Today Amina is working on her second album, which will be released i 2014. And will co-produce the music as well as play the role of "Solveig" in Ibsen's "Peer Gynt" at the Natioaltheater in Oslo.

2011 Got first and second place in the World Championships of Preforming Arts L.A. - Categories, vocals self accompanied, and acting open.
2011 Solo performance at “Sommeråpent” on TV2.
2011 Directed, cut and starred in the musicvideo of her second single "Hero".
